Advanced Automotive Since 1991

Advanced Automotive was founded in 1991 by Andy and Diane Motter.  

Andy got his start in the Automotive industry working at a gas station while attending the Alan Hancock College automotive program. He then was hired by a local well known shop Dave's Carburetor and Electric where he was mentored in the finer points of quality automotive service.

In 1991 Andy and Diane opened their own shop, Advanced Tune-up & Smog.  As the industry changed so did the business.   We evolved over the years from a carburetor/tune-up shop to a full service automotive repair shop.  

Our name changed to the current name of Advanced Automotive.   Today we are still a smog shop, but also so much more.  We pride ourselves is servicing our customers with quality total car care.
